Hi, we are Dean and Debbie Bisbee, parents of Troy and Jessica VanDerWerff. Born and raised in South Dakota we truly appreciate all the outdoor opportunities our great state offers especially camping, fishing and hunting. We have been married for over 35 years and have always had a dog. Several years ago I was able to acquire a German Shorthaired Pointer from Troy our son in law. Having grown up hunting with a lab I didn’t know how we would get along but we could not be happier with our GSPs. There is nothing better than hunting with a well bred hunting dog.
Recently we joined the Missouri River Kennels team and are now partnering with Troy and Jessica working primarily on the GSP side of operations. We both are honored to help Troy and Jessica take Missouri River Kennels to the next level. We share their vision for breeding great hunting dogs that are also a cherished member of the family.

My wife and I LOVE the outdoors. We love to hunt, fish, camp, etc. My wife sometimes shows me up in the deer hunting department, but I just say that I did a GREAT job GUIDING!! We were blessed to have 2 boys (Austin, Ryan), and are now starting to become a HANDFUL!! It is amazing how they grow up SO fast. They love being outside and also running after the puppies. We hope you enjoyed looking at our puppies, a few family photos and got a little insight about us and what we are trying to do. We certainly are glad to share this with you and hope you are too.
